Big fire color spinel from Tanzania. Stone has visible but pleasant inclusions.
Color is very open and bright in all lighting conditions. We can call it neon.

GRS Laboratories examined a 9.06 ct natural spinel, described in report number GRS2024-080023, that demonstrates very good characteristics worthy of a dedicated mention.
This important spinel is distinguished by a rare combination of size, an excellent vivid orangy-red color variety, and good brilliance.
This spinel could be traced to an exclusive mining location in Mahenge (Tanzania) that produced some of the largest and most appreciated spinels in the world. This isolated finding is nearly exhausted and each of the unique gem-quality specimens is highly sourced by collectors. At the time of testing, it was concluded that the gemstone was spared of thermal enhancement.
The combination of very good attributes that this spinel displays was concluded to be important.
Untreated spinels of such size and quality are rare
